Signing of the Peace Agreement is the Clearest Way to Address Concerns: Vahan Kostanyan
The 5th Conference on Decentralized Cooperation between Armenia and France has commenced in Goris. Kostanyan also addressed the peace agreement, stating that Armenia is ready to sign and subsequently ratify it without delay. According to him, the clearest, direct, and concise way to address concerns is through the signing and ratification of the agreement, which will open an era of peaceful coexistence in our region.
Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan emphasized the high regard for France's support of Armenia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the further strengthening of democracy, as well as the assistance provided to Armenia's defense capabilities and economic resilience in both bilateral and European formats. He also noted France's support for the expansion of Armenia-EU cooperation and the desire to move closer to Europe.
The relations between the two states are at an unprecedented high level, aiming to assist Armenia in overcoming regional challenges. Despite all existing challenges, the Republic of Armenia is making determined efforts to establish lasting peace in the region, based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and inviolability of borders, which Armenia and Azerbaijan committed to respect in the Alma-Ata Declaration.
