No Cleric Has Brought Gifts to the Church, Says Chakhoyan

We are the owners of our churches, monasteries, and sacred places, and no cleric can consider themselves to be the master and lord. This was stated by Taron Chakhoyan, the Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

"The church is the house of God, and no cleric can prohibit your entry into the church. No cleric has brought gifts to the church and will not take them away. The role of clerics is to serve God and the people, not to act as a boss," Chakhoyan wrote.
