Judge Naira Hovsepyan Not Subjected to Disciplinary Responsibility Again
The Supreme Court judge Naira Hovsepyan has once again not been subjected to disciplinary responsibility. The Judicial Council has just published its decision to reject the Ministry of Justice's request to hold Hovsepyan accountable.
It was previously known that a series of complaints against judge Naira Hovsepyan had been submitted to the Ministry of Justice. Based on one of these complaints, the Ministry of Justice eventually initiated disciplinary proceedings and submitted a request to the Judicial Council, demanding accountability for Hovsepyan. This proceeding was prompted by a report from lawyer Gor Margaryan. It pertains to yet another case of delays in court rulings attributed to Naira Hovsepyan.
The Judicial Council, similar to its previous decision, has decided to release Naira Hovsepyan from responsibility this time as well. It is noteworthy that Naira Hovsepyan had previously left the Judicial Council at her own request on May 2, 2024. As of now, there is no official clarification regarding the reason for her request.
