Aram Hovhannisyan Posts Statement After Resignation
Aram Hovhannisyan, the Deputy Chief of Police and Minister of Internal Affairs, has submitted a request for his resignation. In his statement, he said:
“Dear colleagues, beloved officers,
I have submitted my resignation from service. During my more than thirty years of service in the police, I have traveled a long path with many of you, fighting against crime, ensuring the internal stability of the country, and protecting public order, the safety and rights of our citizens. Serving in the police has been a way of life for me, a real school of life, and my greatest achievement has been having colleagues like you.
We have gone through many difficulties and challenges together and have had significant accomplishments. We have enthusiastically and willingly passed on our experiences and acquired knowledge to the younger generation.
I thank the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Minister of Internal Affairs for trusting me with this important position during this challenging period. Thank you all. I wish you professional success and personal happiness,”
Hovhannisyan wrote.It should be noted that Aram Hovhannisyan has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Chief of Police and Minister of Internal Affairs, a decision signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This information was confirmed by the government of Armenia.
