During Terror Attack in Bryansk, an Armenian Was on Board the Train; Mourning Declared
A terrorist attack occurred in Russia's Bryansk region, resulting in the collapse of a construction on the rails, which led to a collision with a passing train. Our compatriot Samvel Grigoryan, who was on the train, shared some details about the incident in an interview with Alpha News.
“There was no panic; we were helping each other as best we could; everything was fine. There was no explosion,” Grigoryan said, thanking in Armenian.
It is noteworthy that a three-day mourning period has been declared in Bryansk. June 2, 3, and 4 have been designated as days of mourning in connection with the tragedy, announced Governor Alexander Bogomaz.
Recall that on Sunday night, a bridge collapse occurred in the Vigonichskii region of Bryansk. The locomotive and carriages of the Moscow-Klima train collapsed due to the falling arches of an automobile bridge caused by illegal interference with transportation operations. Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported that seven people died in the bridge explosion, and 69 were injured, including 3 children.
Criminal cases related to the incidents in Bryansk and Kursk regions have been transferred to the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
