New Details and Footage from the Jambarak Explosion

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has provided new details regarding the fire that broke out in one of the apartments on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in the city of Jambarak.

According to preliminary data, there was a gas explosion that caused a collapse in one of the apartments on the third floor. The apartments on the fourth, third, and second floors have collapsed. Part of the adjacent entrance's apartments have also partially collapsed.

There is one confirmed fatality. Information has been received from the Jambarak Medical Center that 10 injured individuals have been transferred to medical facilities. Further information will be provided.

According to Shamshyan, there are 4 individuals reported missing. Auroranews is also trying to clarify details regarding the incident.

Earlier, it was reported that on June 11 at 08:34, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue service received a call that a fire had broken out in one of the apartments on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in Jambarak. The Ministry of Health of Armenia reported that 9 injured individuals have been hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical assistance, and they are currently undergoing examinations.
