If the Country Refuses Peaceful Resolution, It Will Be Left Without Those Territories: Kartapolov
Conditions for Ukraine are worsening every day. If the country refuses a peaceful resolution, it may be left without Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and other territories. This was stated by Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma's defense committee, in an interview with TASS, commenting on the prediction of American economist Jeffrey Sachs.
Sachs previously stated that Ukraine could lose Odesa if it does not agree to halt the conflict now. According to him, such a development could occur if the Ukrainian side does not agree to stop military operations.
According to Kartapolov, Sachs is a very experienced and competent individual who can accurately analyze events. “But we have initially stated that procrastinating the diplomatic solution to this conflict worsens the conditions for Ukraine every day,” the parliamentarian added.
