Mikael Ajaphanyan states (quote): “Let any of these braggarts try to live without a wife for a month” (end of quote). This was written by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

“These blasphemers apparently do not even observe Great Lent. All clergy who have violated the vow of celibacy must leave spiritual service. There is no other option,” the Prime Minister wrote.

Previously, the former Prime Minister had made posts noting that “All clergy who have breached the vow of celibacy must leave spiritual service. No one’s personal life is anyone else’s business.” It is worth recalling that one of the posts was directed at Bishop Bagrat, stating, “Your Grace, go continue to take care of your uncle’s bride, what do you have to do with me?”
