Dispute over Dog Incident in Yerevan Ends with Woman's Death, Child Hospitalized
Details have emerged regarding an incident that took place in the Victory neighborhood of Yerevan. Yesterday, at 10:34 PM, the police in the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a 32-year-old man with a severe wound had sought medical assistance at the Astghik Medical Center.
Officers from the Malatia division of the community police, conducting operational and investigative measures, determined that a group of individuals, including the man who went to the hospital, had been clarifying details about a dog incident in the Victory neighborhood, which escalated into a brawl. Following this, the participants in the altercation pursued each other in their vehicles.
During this chase, one of the participants, driving a BMW, struck 42-year-old Ani Kh. and her 2-year-old son. The woman died as a result of the incident, while her son was hospitalized. Investigations are ongoing to uncover all circumstances of the case, including the identity of the individual driving the BMW.
According to Sputnik, the condition of the 2-year-old child struck in the Victory neighborhood is extremely critical. As reported by Shamshyan, the altercation known among locals as happening in the '4th village' of the Victory neighborhood ended in tragedy.
