Arrest at Zvartnots Airport Following Moscow-Yerevan Flight Arrival

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports: "As a result of operational-investigative measures undertaken by the Community Police Department at Zvartnots Airport, a foreign national, a 46-year-old man wanted by law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan for several offenses since 2014, was arrested and taken to the police station after the arrival of the Moscow-Yerevan flight on May 30. The measure of restraint is detention. The relevant authorities and the prosecutor's office have been informed regarding his discovery,” the statement reads.
