On June 2, at 00:12 local time (20:12 UTC on June 1), an earthquake was recorded by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations at geographical coordinates of 40.79° north latitude and 44.39° east longitude, 11 km southeast of the town of Spitak in the Lori Province, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 3.0. The intensity of the subterranean tremor in the epicentral area reached 4 points.

The earthquake was felt in the towns of Spitak and Vanadzor in Lori Province, as well as in the villages of Arevashogh and Lernapat, with an intensity of 3 points.
