Car Rams Into Crowd: PSG Victory Celebrations Turn Chaotic in Paris
A car has reportedly rammed into a crowd of fans during the celebrations for Paris Saint-Germain's victory in a UEFA Champions League match on the Champs-Élysées. According to Le Parisien, the driver attempted to flee the scene, injuring three fans in the process.
Fans managed to pull the driver from the vehicle and subsequently set the car on fire. Following PSG's 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League semifinals, supporters organized mass unrest, breaking shop windows, throwing stones at the police, and using pyrotechnics.
In response, law enforcement employed tear gas and batons, leading to the arrest of 43 individuals during the chaos.
