Polish Presidential Candidate Tears EU Flag and Wipes His Shoes with It

The Polish presidential candidate and MEP Grzegorz Braun has torn the European Union flag and then wiped his shoes with it. This was reported by the Polish television channel Polsat.

The incident took place at the Ministry of Industry building in Katowice. It is likely that the European Parliament members were displeased with the EU flag hanging in a Polish state institution.

“Have some pity for yourselves. If you’re not ashamed, then fear God. This is Poland, not Brussels. We will not display the symbols of organizations that are hostile to us,” Braun told those present.
