Passenger Minibus Collides with Gas Pipeline in Kotayk Province: Injuries Reported
On May 4 at 09:55, the Crisis Management National Center received reports of a traffic accident in the village of Arinj, Kotayk Province, with injuries reported and a fuel leak present. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan division of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a GAZelle minibus, serving route 48, had collided with a gas pipeline, resulting in injuries.
One injured person received necessary medical assistance on-site and did not require hospitalization. Rescuers disconnected the minibus from the power supply, closed the gas cylinder valve, and assisted five injured individuals by bringing them to an ambulance. The injured were subsequently hospitalized at a medical center.
