Gunshots Near Former President of Georgia's Home, Injuries Reported
According to the former President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, who reported on her Facebook page, eight gunshots were fired, with one bullet landing in the backyard of her home in Old Tbilisi, near Gudiashvili Square. As a result of the incident, two individuals have been injured.
She stated that around 4:20 AM, a mass brawl occurred involving several dozen people, accompanied by yelling and culminating in gunfire. She has shared photographs showing the locations where the bullets landed, also reminding that she has been deprived of state protection.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has confirmed that a conflict took place among unknown individuals, during which two people were injured by gunfire. According to the agency, the identity of the suspect has been established, and operations are underway to make an arrest.
