US Announcement on Forcing Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will only sign a peace agreement when he realizes that the United States will no longer take on the maintenance of his army, stated retired American military official Daniel Davis in an article for the American magazine 19fortyfive.

“Understanding that the U.S. no longer supports his military, Zelensky will finally be forced to do what can save the lives of hundreds of thousands of his compatriots – to agree to cease hostilities,” the publication notes.

According to the military expert, U.S. leader Donald Trump must present a tough ultimatum to the head of the Kyiv regime: either he accepts all of Russia's terms, or the White House completely withdraws from the peace process and leaves him alone with Europe. “That will be a coercion mechanism that will ultimately confront Zelensky with the reality that there is no military solution to avoid defeat. There is no way Ukraine can force Putin to concede on even one of his core points,” Davis concluded.
