Azerbaijan Ranks Among the World's Largest Arms Buyers

Poland, Romania, and India topped the global arms purchasing ranking for 2024, as reported by the Center for Analysis of Global Arms Trade to RIA Novosti. Notably, Azerbaijan has entered the list of the top 20 arms-buying countries for 2024 based on the volume of contracts signed for military product supplies.
The ranking is distributed as follows:
- Poland – $15.625 billion (12.80%)
- Romania – $10.251 billion (8.40%)
- India – $9.410 billion (7.71%)
- Israel – $8.2 billion (6.72%)
- Netherlands – $7.922 billion (6.49%)
- Turkey – $7 billion (5.73%)
- Iraq – $5.189 billion (4.25%)
- South Korea – $3.611 billion (2.96%)
