Armenia and Iran to Conduct Joint Military Exercises

On April 9-10, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will conduct joint military exercises. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

According to the announcement, the Armenian military units will hold the exercises on Armenian territory, while the Iranian military units will operate on Iranian territory. The exercises will involve operations to neutralize simulated terrorist attacks on border checkpoints located along the Armenia-Iran state border.
