Defense Ministry Spokesperson on the Situation at the Border

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has reported that sporadic, non-targeted gunfire is occasionally recorded along the border line. We have also repeatedly stated that in the case of intensive, significant, or otherwise stated, targeted attacks, we issue official statements. This was conveyed to Aurora News by Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan.

"I would also like to add that when there are targeted shootings, as was the case on March 31 towards a residential house in the village of Khnatsakh in the Syunik region, the defense ministry provides proper notification about this," Torosyan said. "The defense agency has a clear information policy based on various circumstances and analyses."
