Russia Prepared to Take Tough Measures: Zakharova

Russia will undertake inevitable and tough response measures against any actions by Japan related to its participation in supplying weapons to Kyiv. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The diplomat noted that Japan is increasingly getting involved in the conflict surrounding Ukraine by expanding its material support to Kyiv. “We want to warn that any step by Japan to participate in supplying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine will be viewed by us as unequivocally hostile,” she said.

In response, Russia is prepared to resort to tough measures that will be felt in Tokyo.
