What Flights Did the British Aircraft Conduct Over Armenian and Azerbaijani Airspace?

A British private company’s aircraft has conducted a series of technical flights around the airports of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as reported by Sputnik Armenia.

At the end of March, a Beech King Air 350i aircraft was spotted in Armenian airspace (via Flightradar24), circling around the areas of Yerevan and Sisian.

“Later, we noticed that the aircraft flew towards Tbilisi, from there to Ganja and further south into the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, where it also hovered in the air for an extended period. The aircraft belongs to ‘Flight Precision,’ a private company located in Bournemouth, England,” the report states.

The company’s website mentions that it operates the Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft, which is fully integrated with an automated flight verification system, Aerodata (AD-AFIS). The company provides flight safety verification services worldwide and has worked in both civilian and military sectors across Europe, Africa, the CIS, the Middle East, and the Far East.

Sputnik Armenia also sought information on the aircraft's flights in the Sisian area from the RA Civil Aviation Committee. “The Civil Aviation Committee informed that during March, flight tests involving the newly installed VOR/DME radio navigation facility were conducted at Sisian Airport by the English company ‘Flight Precision Ltd’ using a Beechcraft Corporation B300 aircraft, as per the order of ‘Armenian Air Navigation’ LLC,” the media outlet states.
