Peskov on Accusations Presented by Kyiv

The Kremlin's spokesperson has denied Kyiv's accusations that Moscow is dragging China into the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Dmitry Peskov emphasized that Beijing is pursuing a balanced policy.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Ukrainian armed forces have captured two Chinese soldiers in the Donetsk region who were fighting on Russia's side. According to him, at least 155 Chinese nationals are currently fighting against Ukraine as part of the Russian armed forces. Zelensky added that the Russian side is primarily recruiting Chinese citizens through TikTok.

In response to the statements from Kyiv, the Chinese Foreign Ministry assured that Beijing has not sent military personnel to participate in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
