Soldier Injured by Mine Explosion in Gegharkunik

Last night, a military serviceman was injured by a mine explosion in the Gegharkunik region. This was reported by Haym newspaper.

The serviceman accidentally stepped on the mine and lost his leg as a result of the explosion. He has been transported to Yerevan.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Aram Torosyan, stated that the soldier's life is not in danger. "The life of the serviceman from the Ministry of Defense's N military unit who sustained a mine blast injury is not at risk, and he is under the care of the hospital's medical staff," noted Aram Torosyan.
