Large-Scale Drone Attack on Russia

Russian air defense systems have destroyed 158 Ukrainian drones in 11 regions of Russia, as well as in the airspace over the Azov and Black Seas, according to kommersant.ru citing the Russian Ministry of Defense press service.

The majority of the drones, 67 in total, were shot down in the Krasnodar region.

According to reports from the military department, between 20:00 on April 8 and 06:00 on April 9, the following drones were also destroyed:

• 29 drones in Rostov region
• 15 drones in North Ossetia
• 11 drones in Voronezh region
• 10 drones in Kursk region
• 7 drones in the airspace over the Sea of Azov
• 6 drones in the airspace over the Black Sea
• 5 drones in Belgorod region
• 3 drones in Crimea
• 2 drones in Penza region
• 1 drone each in Saratov, Oryol, and Stavropol regions
