Casualties and Injuries in Yemen Following US Airstrikes

US military aircraft carried out a series of airstrikes on the residential neighborhood of Mukbil in the Al Hudaydah province of Yemen on the evening of April 8. This was reported by the Houthi-controlled Al Masirah television channel.

According to health department reports, the death toll has reached 6, with another 16 people injured, including women and children. Significant damage has been inflicted on residential homes.

Civil defense teams promptly moved to the scene to rescue those affected by the rubble and to extinguish large fires ignited due to the American bombings.

The US military aircraft targeted the communication network in the Badhan neighborhood with three attacks in the Jabal al-Shamhi area. In addition, 10 more airstrikes targeted the Nukum mountain, located east of the capital city of Sana'a. The US has also struck communication networks in various regions of Yemen, as well as targeting several farms located west of Damar city, resulting in 3 injuries.

Since March 15, the US has been conducting daily strikes on Yemen following threats made by the Houthis on March 12 to resume attacks on vessels associated with Israel in the Red Sea. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of over 60 individuals, including women and children.
