The Principal of School No. 2 Under Scrutiny from Relevant Authorities
Auroranews has published a report today regarding the actions of Narine Nazaryan, the principal of Khachatur Abovyan School No. 2. Specifically, a parent reported to Auroranews that recently Nazaryan had pulled an 8th-grade student, forcing him to take so-called "polywood" from the storage and clean up juice spilled on the floor.
Additionally, at the same school, technology teacher Karine Davtyan referred to a 6th-grade female student as a "Turk" during class for making noise.
After the report was published, Auroranews contacted Margarita Khachatryan, the head of the general education department at the Yerevan municipality. She indicated that an investigation will be conducted upon familiarizing herself with the material.
Auroranews also communicated with Karine Manukyan from the Ministry of Education and Science's information department. She stated that after the investigation, the department's assessment regarding the incidents would be presented.
