Details on Child's Poisoning Incident Involving 'Candy'
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident in which a 3-year-old child was given a chemical tablet disguised as candy, resulting in the child being poisoned. Auroranews has been informed by the Investigative Committee that proceedings have been launched under Part 1 of Article 173 (causing medium serious harm to health through negligence).
It is worth mentioning that Shamshyan.com reported that on April 6, a call was received by the police stating that a 3-year-old child had been taken to the hospital after consuming cleaning agent pills.
It was found that the child's 30-year-old mother, around midnight, had taken a taxi with her daughter from Garegin Hovsepyan Street to Lazoz Street. During the journey, the taxi driver offered the child an unidentified chemical tablet as candy, and after consuming it, the child began to weaken and experienced nausea.
Police have located the taxi driver, who indicated that the candies were given to him by two foreigners whom he had transported as passengers.
