The President of Germany Shares Artsakh Flag on Social Media
During a regional visit, the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, made a post and shared photos on his Instagram story while in Armenia.
"This is my first visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan, and among the important issues to be discussed, the main mission is for the long-term stability and peace in the South Caucasus, to strengthen relations with both countries in the fields of economy, science, and culture," he stated.
In sharing the Artsakh flag, he added: "The conflict concerns the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. According to international law, the region belongs to Azerbaijan, but the majority of the people living there are Armenians. Armed conflicts have occurred repeatedly over the past decades," noted the President of Germany.
