CEC Summarizes Results from 56 of 82 Polling Stations
The Central Electoral Commission has published the voting results from 56 out of 82 polling stations opened in Gyumri as of 05:23.
The ruling "Civil Contract" party (first candidate: acting mayor Sarik Minasyan) is leading with 37.07% (10,636 votes).
The second place is occupied by the Communist Party of Armenia (first candidate: former mayor Vardan Ghukasyan) with 19.62% (5,629 votes).
The "Our City" bloc (MP Martun Grigoryan from the "I Have Honor" faction) is in third place with 14.59% (4,188 votes).
The votes among other participating parties are as follows:
- "My Powerful Community" party (first candidate: Ruben Mkhitaryan) - 8.62% (2,474 votes),
- "Mother Armenia" bloc (first candidate: Karen Simonian) - 6.97% (2,000 votes),
- "Eurobloc" (first candidate: Levon Barseghyan) - 4.67% (1,342 votes),
- "Living Land" party (first candidate: Karen Malkhasyan) - 3.77% (1,083 votes),
- "Democratic Alternative" party (first candidate: Artjom Karaghazaryan) - 3.28% (941 votes),
- Workers' Socialist Party of Armenia (first candidate: Artjom Tumanyan) - 1.36% (392 votes).
Thus, according to preliminary data, there will be 5 parties represented in the Gyumri City Council (the electoral threshold for parties is 4%, and for blocs it is 6%):

- Communist Party of Armenia (Vardan Ghukasyan)
- "Our City" bloc (Martun Grigoryan)
