Azerbaijan Will Start Demanding, Not Just Desiring: Arthur Khachatryan
Azerbaijan will continue to present new demands, and I am confident about this, said Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, during a news briefing.
"I do not rule out that Azerbaijan will demand, rather than just wish for, the extradition of participants in the Artsakh war. If this request was initially presented to us as a desire, I do not exclude that Azerbaijan may now submit a list with specific names. This government spoke about a new constitution that was supposed to undergo changes in 2026, then 2027, and I do not exclude that Azerbaijan may demand constitutional changes even before the scheduled elections in 2026," he said.
According to the MP, the current Prime Minister's stay in power is contingent on the goodwill of the opposing side. "The Prime Minister realizes that we face numerous leverage points, and for the future, the continued rule of Pashinyan will depend on the goodwill of Erdogan and Aliyev," Arthur Khachatryan stated.
