They Have Ruined the European Union's Economy and Continent: Zakharova

British authorities are striving to provoke the European Union into a slaughter with Russia. Their golden dream is to incite European countries and subsequently join the Anglo-Saxon alliance, said Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a briefing, as reported by TASS.

“We understand why they are doing this. London, let me remind you, had previously exited the European Union. And now it has a golden dream, after they have ruined not only the economy of the European Union but also the European continent. The plans of those states are clear; afterward, they will join the Anglo-Saxon alliance,” she noted.

According to Zakharova, British authorities realize the dangers of their proposed initiative to send a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine. “That is why they cowardly spread the idea of disbanding the military uniforms of potential peacekeeping forces from Western countries, which implies abandoning the use of insignia,” Maria Zakharova stated.
