Araqchi on His Visit to Armenia

I had a very successful visit to Yerevan to discuss regional issues of mutual interest and concern. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, summarizing his visit to Yerevan.

“Iran's strong friendship with Armenia is the result of centuries of common history, cultural closeness, and mutual trust based on shared interests. Our vision for the Caucasus is based on respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty, economic cooperation, and preventing the interference of external players,” noted the Iranian foreign minister.
