What to Expect for Drivers Misusing High Beam Headlights

The National Assembly is discussing the bill on making amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses for the second reading. Deputy Armen Khachatryan delivered the main report and presented the proposed changes.

The draft law aims to increase the annual point system from 9 to 13, as well as introduce several modifications to the point system to prevent the risk of road traffic accidents.

During the discussion of the draft, Deputy Zarouhi Batoyan proposed to add two violations relating to the incorrect use of high beam headlights by vehicles to the point system. These proposals were accepted, and both the amount of the fine and an additional point penalty for these violations were introduced, as mentioned by Khachatryan.
