The Main Dish is Kyiv Cutlet, Bon Appétit: Medvedev to Zelensky
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has sarcastically responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement yesterday, insisting that Ukraine is not a salad or a compote to be included in Russian President Vladimir Putin's menu. Medvedev made these remarks on his page in the social media platform X.
According to Medvedev, the phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump reaffirmed the well-known notion that only Russia and America are at the dining table.
“At the dining table, there are only Russia and the USA, with light appetizers like Brussels sprouts, British fish and fries, and Parisian rooster. The main dish is Kyiv cutlet. Bon appétit,” the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council noted.
It is worth recalling that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted sharply to the comments about Ukraine being on Putin's 'menu,' stating that the country is not a dish.
