Next Deadline for US-Russia Negotiations Announced

Delegations from Washington and Moscow will meet in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, March 23, said the US special envoy Steve Witkoff. He detailed that the central theme of the negotiations will be the specifics of agreements regarding a ceasefire with Ukraine.

According to Witkoff, the ceasefire draft includes a moratorium on energy and other infrastructure attacks, as well as assaults in the Black Sea. “We have discussed the key conditions to achieve this objective. Everything went very positively,” he stated during an appearance on Fox News. “Starting Sunday in Jeddah, we will begin to elaborate on the details, and then move toward a comprehensive ceasefire,” he added.
