Ruben Vardanyan's Lawyer Appeals to Pashinyan and Mirzoyan

This is indeed an important event. Mike Waltz, the U.S. National Security Advisor, emphasized the president's commitment to peace in the Caucasus, highlighting the necessity of signing a peace agreement, as well as the need for the release of Armenian and Christian political prisoners in Azerbaijan, including my client Ruben Vardanyan. This was stated by Jared Gensler, Vardanyan's international lawyer, in a post on X.

Gensler also urged Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to read Waltz's and former President Donald Trump's statements, which underscore the need not only to finalize a peace agreement with Azerbaijan but also to release Armenian captives. “I believe you fully agree with the Trump administration on this key issue,” Gensler wrote.

It is worth noting that the U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz has indicated that he discussed the peace process with Azerbaijan Presidential Assistant Hikmet Hajiyev.
