The Time for the Putin-Trump Phone Conversation is Announced
The phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump will take place between 16:00 and 18:00 Moscow time (17:00 to 19:00 Yerevan time). This was announced by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on March 18, according to iz.ru.
"It will be from 16:00 to 18:00 Moscow time. The leaders will talk as long as they find it suitable," he said during a briefing.
Peskov also indicated that the Kremlin plans to inform as soon as possible about the outcomes of the phone conversation between the U.S. and Russian leaders.
The Russian president's press secretary commented on Trump's recent statements that many issues for the upcoming discussion have already been agreed upon. He noted that there is a "certain understanding of the topics of conversation." Additionally, numerous questions pertain to the further resolution of bilateral relations and the situation in Ukraine.
It is worth recalling that Trump wrote on the Truth Social network that many elements of a "final agreement" regarding Ukraine have been coordinated, but there is still a lot to do. Trump made this announcement in the context of his phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin scheduled for March 18.
