Srbouhi Galyan on the Text of the Constitution

The text of the new Constitution will be published as soon as it is ready and will be put up for public discussion; at this moment, we do not have a finished product. This was stated by Minister of Justice Srbouhi Galyan during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly.

When asked about Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's declaration that the new Constitution will have regional significance, Galyan responded, "The discussion is about a Constitution that does not jeopardize peace and peace agreements and relationships aimed at peace."

In a clarifying question about whether they should work in such a way that the Constitution does not jeopardize the peace agreement, the minister specified, "Our conduct and approach must be structured in such a way that peace is established in our country and the security environment develops." At the same time, she mentioned that she does not believe that the current Constitution hinders this and added that the sole owner of the Constitution is the people, and it is the people who will decide whether they want the X Constitution or not.
