Rubio Presents Two Plans for Resolving the Ukrainian Conflict

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has outlined Plan A and Plan B for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. He disclosed this in an interview with CBS.

"Plan A is a ceasefire; we need to move on to the second phase—Plan B, which is bringing everyone to the negotiating table," he stated in the publication.

He added that a way must be found to definitively end the conflict in a manner that is sustainable and respects everyone's needs.

Rubio noted that it is difficult to reach Plan B as long as fighting continues.

US President’s Special Envoy Steve Vitkoff mentioned the day before that Putin and Trump may call each other this week. According to him, the White House leader expects the Ukrainian crisis to be resolved in a matter of weeks.
