Iran Announces Conditions for Negotiations with the U.S.
Tehran will only negotiate with Washington after U.S. President Donald Trump lifts all American sanctions against the Islamic Republic. This was stated by Fada Hossein Maleki, a member of Iran's parliamentary commission on national security and foreign policy.
“If Trump truly believes in negotiations, then the first step in that direction must be the complete removal of the harsh sanctions, after which talks should continue with consideration of Iran's national interests. According to the decision of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, we will sit at the negotiating table when we know that our national interests are protected,” the MP stated.
