Forbidden Means Are Being Used: Pashinyan
During a Q&A session with the government, MP Gegham Nazaryan raised the issue of the fabricated trials of Armenian captives in Baku, emphasizing that former leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh fought for the internationally recognized right to self-determination.
“We have already made a clear assessment that in the context of the trials taking place in Baku, forbidden means are being employed and torture is being carried out. The Armenian government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has provided a clear evaluation, and we will continue our efforts to address this issue,” stated the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also added that in such situations, the question arises as to what our diplomacy is doing. “I want to emphasize that our diplomacy is guided by the principle of not causing harm. Our assessment is clear: there are forbidden influences, including physical and psychological pressure tools, and according to some information we have, other forbidden methods are being used to exert this prohibited influence, which is, of course, unacceptable for us,” he said.
