Mher Grigoryan Announces Where the Next Demarcation Will Begin
The demarcation will start from Tavush, specifically from the northern corner. This was stated today during a briefing with journalists by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia and the head of the Armenian commission on border demarcation with Azerbaijan, Mher Grigoryan.
“All information regarding the demarcation is public; we have published and highlighted how we will proceed after the last meeting. In my opinion, there should be one more meeting before it starts, as there are still issues to discuss,” Grigoryan noted.
In response to the question of whose proposal it was to start the demarcation from that area, the Deputy Prime Minister answered, “It is a decision made through general consensus.”
Regarding the possibility of conducting demarcation in the Jermuk area this year, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that he cannot provide an answer at this time.
