Vardan Ghukasian's Lawyer Addresses His Detention

The president of the DOK party, Vardan Ghukasian's lawyer has issued a statement asserting that his client is not in detention.

"Rumors are circulating in the media, online, and on the streets that Vardan Ghukasian has reportedly been beaten, kidnapped, killed, detained by Interpol, tried, is terminally ill, and so on. I officially declare that these do not correspond to reality; they are false news, and a legal assessment of them will also be provided. Vardan Ghukasian has temporarily suspended his public appearances due to a legal process connected to his business reputation. Considering the confidentiality of the legal process and the integrity of justice, I ask Vardan Ghukasian's supporters not to overload the law office with their calls and messages. Thank you for your understanding," the statement reads.

Earlier, Hetq reported that Ghukasian is currently detained in Las Vegas, at the Henderson detention facility.
