Canada is Not a Real Country, Says Musk
The head of the U.S. Government Efficiency Department and entrepreneur Elon Musk has responded to thousands of Canadians who signed a petition demanding his revocation of Canadian citizenship by stating that Canada is not a real country.
Previously, over 160,000 Canadians had signed an online petition calling for his citizenship to be revoked, while more than 15,000 Canadians also demanded that U.S. President Donald Trump be declared persona non grata.
According to the petition, Musk, who became a Canadian citizen in 1989, has acted against the interests of the country, intervened in its elections, and become a member of a foreign government that seeks to undermine its sovereignty. “Canada is not a real country,” Musk wrote on his X page in response to a post about the petition.
