Israeli Actions Intensify Genocide, Says Palestinian Foreign Ministry
Israeli deployment of tanks to the Palestinian city of Jenin, located on the western bank of the Jordan River, is aimed at intensifying genocide. This was stated in a press release by the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.
The Ministry assessed Israel's actions as a "dangerous escalation and expansion of crimes against the Palestinian people," while the sending of Israeli tanks indicates a "blatant attempt to escalate genocide and policies of displacement against the unarmed population."
"International intervention is urgently needed at this time to prevent the occupier's attacks, which are carried out in violation of laws and signed agreements, as well as to compel it to cease aggression against the Palestinian people and their rights, the most fundamental of which is the right to remain on their land," the ministry emphasized.
It was previously reported that Israel is sending tanks to the Jenin area for the first time in 20 years and expanding the anti-terror operation that began a month ago in the north of the Jordan River.
