Women’s Football Team Celebrates Largest Victory in History

In the opening match of the UEFA Women’s Nations League C, the Armenian Women’s National Team defeated Liechtenstein decisively with a score of 6-1 at the Hakob Tonoyan City Stadium in Armavir.

Our team’s Lara Kazanchyan, a midfielder with French club Lens, scored a hat-trick, while Maral Artin, Oksana Pizlova, and Anna Dallakyan each added a goal. The only goal for the visitors was scored by Katarina Risch.

It is worth noting that the Armenian Women’s National Team will play its next match in four days, on February 25, against the Kazakhstan team.
