EU Must Also Join the Negotiation Table: Rubio

The European Union must "at some point" join the negotiation table. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio following talks with a Russian delegation in Saudi Arabia.

“In order for the conflict to end, all participants must agree on a solution that is acceptable to them. The European Union must eventually sit at the negotiation table because they also have imposed sanctions,” the Secretary of State said.

Earlier, Russian and U.S. delegations conducted talks regarding the Ukraine conflict. The parties discussed the regulation of bilateral relations, the preparation for talks between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, and agreed to consider each other's interests in the international arena in the future.
