Trump and Putin Hold Phone Conversation

Donald Trump has spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the resolution of the Ukraine conflict. This was announced by the US President to the New York Post.

The president also expressed hope that military operations would come to an end quickly.

“I prefer not to say anything,” Trump responded when asked how often he has communicated with the Russian president. At the same time, Trump stated that Vladimir Putin “wants people to stop dying.”

According to the US President, he has a specific plan to end the conflict.

“I hope it will be fast. People are dying every day... I want to put an end to this damned thing,” he remarked.

Trump also announced plans to make a deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for $500 million related to access to rare minerals and gas.
