The Incident with Argishti Kyaramyan Was an Occasion, Not a Reason – Aghazaryan

The Prime Minister's well-known request for him to resign from his mandate was not related to the incident between me and Mr. Kyaramyan in the National Assembly. It was merely an occasion. This was stated by Hovik Aghazaryan, who has been dismissed from the ruling Civil Contract party, adding that he was already becoming a hindrance.

According to him, Pashinyan is implementing authoritarian governance. “A strong government is based on the law, not on one person's will. If everything is placed on one person, their mistakes can be fatal. Therefore, it is unacceptable to allow one person to make all the decisions. Nikol Pashinyan's hidden authoritarian governance was revealed when he announced he had urged the head of the Supreme Judicial Council to resign,” he said.

Aghazaryan stated that they will do everything to prevent Nikol Pashinyan from being re-elected in early or regular elections, ensuring he does not become Prime Minister again. “In established democratic countries, you cannot become president more than twice because you wear out. Your friends and acquaintances become so repulsive that you choose, you bring in Hovik Aghazaryan, and the other one has to be left to grow. Your resources are exhausted; you have to leave,” Aghazaryan added.
