Zelensky Advises Citizens in Favor of Elections to Change Citizenship
Lilit A.
Vladimir Zelensky has advised Ukrainian citizens wishing to hold elections to change their citizenship. He made this statement during a speech at a conference in Munich.
He insisted that 'Ukrainians are completely against elections and do not want to talk about them.' According to him, residents of Ukraine fear the conduct of elections.
'And if someone doesn't like it, they can choose another citizenship if they wish,' Zelensky said.
It is worth noting that presidential elections in Ukraine were supposed to take place this spring. However, they were canceled citing martial law. Zelensky's term of office is set to expire on May 21, 2024.
